17 years since its foundation, TUNIBER has conquered the Tunisian market in water treatment field with about thirty treatment purification stations and about twenty pumping stations.

Purification station of MENZEL TEMIME:

The project concerns the civil engineering and electrical and electromechanical works of the purification station of MENZEL TEMIME, whose sizing data are:

  • Average daily flow: 8283 m3/d
  • Daily peak flow: 11832 m3/d
  • Average total flow in DBO5: 3692 kg DBO5/d
  • Process: Low-load activated sludge

PS, NABEUL PS4:

The process consists of degreasing, grain removal, primary clarification, nitrification-denitrification with phosphorus removal and biological treatment with activated sludge. The sludge line consists of mechanical dehydration, anaerobic stabilization by digestion and cogeneration by biogas recovery. The smell treatment is done by photo-ionization. Purified water tertiary treatment will be carried out by continuous filtration and radiation UV treatment.
This PS is characterized by:

  • Average daily flow: 16538 m3/d
  • Daily peak flow: 23669 m3/d
  • Average total flow in DBO5: 7773 kg DBO5/d per capita equivalent of 172800

Execution of a wastewater transfer system from CHOUTRANA North coastal PS.

The characteristics of this pumping station are introduced as follows:

  • Pumps number: 10 pumps: 2*[5 pumps (4+1)]
  • DTotal pump flow: 1.312m3/s = 4723 m3/h
  • Number of pushing lines: 2 pipes HDPE DN 800 mm
  • TMH: 38 WCm

NEFZA purification station:

The project concerns the construction of NEFZA purification station.
The characteristics of this station are as follows:

  • Average daily flow: 1500 m3/d
  • Hourly peak flow: 95 m3/h for a per capita equivalent of 16850
  • Average total flow in DBO5: 680 kg DBO5/d
  • Process: Low-load activated sludge with mechanical dehydration of sludge, including tertiary treatment (UV filtration and disinfection

AOUSJA purification station:

The works consist of the study and the execution of AOUSJA wastewater purification station works for an equivalent of 106209.
The dimensional characteristics of the station are:

  • Average daily flow: 9109 m3/d
  • Time Sizing Rate: 1667 m3/h
  • Daily peak flow: 13876 m3/d
  • Average total flow in DBO5: 4250 kg DBO5/d
  • Process: Low-load activated sludge with sludge mechanical dehydration.

“Turnkey” works of building the capacity of works and equipment of the SOUSSE NORD wastewater purification station:

The characteristics of this station are as follows:

  • Average daily flow: 15,000 m3 / d
  • Hourly peak flow: 625 m3 / h
  • Daily COD load: 11877Kg / d MES
  • daily load: 5701 Kg / d
  • Average total flow in BOD5: 4751 kg BOD5 / d

MENZEL BOUZALFA wastewater purification station

The work consists of the construction and commissioning of MENZEL BOUZALFA wastewater purification station . This station is characterized by:

  • Average daily flow: 7483 m3/d
  • Sizing flow: 665 m3/h
  • Average total flow in DBO5: 2840 kg DBO5/d

Wastewater purification station in MORNAGUIA:

The project concerns the construction of the MORNAGUIA wastewater purification station whose dimensions are:

  • Average daily flow: 6060 m3/d
  • Daily peak flow: 17280 m3/d
  • Average total flow in DBO5: 2602 Kg DBO5/d
  • Process: Low-load activated sludge with sludge mechanical dehydration, including tertiary treatment (UV filtration and disinfection)

TAZARKA, SOMAA, MAMOURA wastewater purification station:

The works (D&B) consist of the study, design, construction and commissioning of the wastewater purification station in TAZARKA, SOMAA, MAAMOURA, including the main transfer network for raw wastewater and the purified wastewater throw system as well as operating on for 3 months.
The characteristics of this purification station are as follows:

  • Average daily flow: 7400 m3 / d
  • Daily peak flow: 10,800 m3 / d·
  • Hourly peak flow: 1200 m3 / h
  • Average total flow in BOD5: 3280kg BOD5 / d

Rehabilitation of the purified water transfer system of the CHOUTRANA PS

The project which is in progress, consists in the construction of a pumping station for the purified water of the CHOUTRANA PS, the transfer of purified water is done on two parallel pipe lines DN2000 through a length of 4.3km each line.
The characteristics of this pumping station are as follows:

  • Number of pushing lines: 2 concrete pipes DN2000 PN10
  • Flow per line: 3m³ / s
  • Total pump flow rate 6m³ / s or 21,600 m³ / h

Execution of a transfer system for waste and purified water to the EL-Attar PS.

The project concerns the civil engineering works and the equipment of two pumping stations PS1 and PS2, laying of pushing pipes in GRP, DN 1200 and PN 10. The transfer of raw wastewater to the PS is done by two serial pumping stations.
The first pumping station (PS1), located next to Sebkhet Essijoumi, delivers water to the second pumping station PS2, 5 km from SP1 over 8 km in DN 1200 in double line to El Attar PS.
